Yangworks is written and operated by one person, Yang Gao. Email is the fastest way to get a reply, and it is the right channel for corrections, partnership questions, and press.
Please include the page URL if your message is about something published here. I read everything; I do not reply to unsolicited link-insertion, guest-post, or sponsored-placement pitches, because Yangworks does not sell them (see the editorial policy).
Code and issues
Public code and technical issues: GitHub at @tkpdx01. If a guide's commands or configuration do not work for you, an email with your environment details is usually more productive than an issue on an unrelated repository.
Corrections
Yangworks publishes evidence-led technical content, and evidence goes stale. Pricing pages change, provider defaults change, and documented behavior changes. If you find an error — or a cited source that no longer supports the claim it is attached to — please send:
- the URL of the page,
- the sentence or claim you are disputing, and
- the evidence that contradicts it (a link to official documentation is ideal).
Every report is checked against the original source. When a correction is made, the article body is updated, the Updated date on the page changes, and a substantive change to a conclusion is noted in the article itself with the date of the correction. Claims that turn out to be unverifiable are removed rather than softened. The full process is described in the editorial policy and review methodology.
Commercial relationships
Yangworks participates in a small number of affiliate programs, disclosed in full on the affiliate disclosure page. Vendors are welcome to contact me about factual errors in coverage of their product. Commission arrangements do not buy a conclusion, a rating, or removal of a criticism.
