About
Yangworks is an independent developer tools publication and product studio. It publishes hands-on deployment notes, pricing breakdowns, and balanced comparisons for freelance developers, indie makers, and small technical teams.
The beat is narrow on purpose: the infrastructure, tooling, and running costs of a one-person software business. Everything published here is either something that was actually run in production, or research that says clearly that it is research.
Author
Yangworks is written and operated by Yang Gao. What that means in practice, and what can be verified from the work itself:
- Builds and deploys Cloudflare-hosted static sites, including this one — a multilingual site built by a custom Node pipeline and deployed to Workers Static Assets from Git.
- Maintains VPS, API, automation, and browser-extension projects.
- Maker of Upwork Toolkit, a browser extension currently in development.
- Supports conclusions with repositories, configuration, generated output, and reproducible steps rather than screenshots of marketing pages.

How we test
A product Yangworks has not run does not get a review here; research articles say plainly that no live account was operated. Every article publishes its test scope, evidence, dated sources, and affiliate status. The full standard is in the review methodology, with the commercial rules in the editorial policy and affiliate disclosure.
